Translation policy
The International Law Textbook is conceived as a multilingual project.
Translations are curated rather than generated as simple textual equivalents. Each edition is reviewed for legal accuracy, conceptual fidelity, readability, and natural expression in the target language.
Where necessary, terminology, examples, and explanatory formulations may be adjusted so that the text remains intelligible within different legal and educational traditions.
The translated editions remain faithful to the argument of the original while being written to read as texts in their own language.
